“First activity upon arriving in the United States was to meet with the Filipino Community. And their smiles, songs, welcoming took away the weariness of the 16-hour flight to Manila,” saad ng pangulo.

“I thanked them for the work that they do and their contributions to the Philippines, the community, and the United States,” dagdag niya.

“I addressed global issues that require reunited global actions such as climate change, rising food prices, rapid technological change, the peaceful resolution of international disputes, the need to protect the vulnerable sectors of our society such as migrants, and ending all forms of prejudice,” saad ni Pangulong Marcos.

“I also shared our experience in the BARMM peace process, boosting agricultural productivity and promoting human rights to the UN joint programs on human rights. And I reiterated the Philippines’ belief and the primacy of the rule of law as embodied by the UN Convention on the Law of the Sea or UNCLOS,” aniya pa.
