PCSO Delivers Aid to Flood-hit Communities in Metro Manila

In line with President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.’s directive to prioritize flood relief efforts, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) promptly deployed its quick response team to Barangay Sta. Lucia in Quezon City and Brgy. 420 in Sampaloc, Manila.

On July 22, 2025, PCSO distributed a total of 1,000 ChariTimba care packages—650 in Brgy. Sta. Lucia, led by Chief of Staff Jeremy Regino, and 350 in Brgy. 420, which had recently suffered from both flooding and fire.

Meanwhile, PCSO General Manager Melquiades Robles spearheaded the distribution in Manila, joined by First Lady Marie Louise “Liza” Araneta Marcos and Philippine National Police Chief Gen. Nicolas Torre III.

Recipients expressed sincere appreciation for the inclusive assistance, describing it as a vital source of hope. The activity conducted is part of PCSO’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Program, reaffirming its commitment to serving communities in times of crisis.
