PCSO Delivers ‘ChariTimba’ to Fire Victims in Happyland, Tondo Amid Typhoon Opong

Despite the challenging weather conditions caused by Typhoon Opong, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) pushed through with its relief efforts for the fire-hit residents of Happyland in Tondo, Manila, on September 26, 2025.

A total of 2,235 ChariTimba food packs were distributed to fire victims at the Gen. Vicente Lim Elementary School Covered Court in Tondo as part of the agency’s immediate response to the affected families.

Manila Councilor Joaquin Domagoso, acknowledged PCSO as a vital partner in helping the community recover and rebuild hope. For Domagoso, the assistance proved that the government continues to stand by the people of Tondo.

This initiative forms part of PCSO’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Program, which aims to provide essential support to Filipinos in times of crisis and disaster.
