In a bid to continue its drive to uplift communities and promote accessible healthcare, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) delivered medical assistance to Oriental Mindoro on June 30, 2025.
During a formal turnover ceremony held at the PCSO Main Office in Mandaluyong City, Executive Assistant John Mark Forcado, representing the local government of Bongabong, received 36 wheelchairs and 30 nebulizers. These items are set to be distributed to residents in need, particularly persons with disabilities (PWDs) and individuals with chronic illnesses.
In addition, Board Member Judy Ann Servando of Oriental Mindoro’s Second District received a separate set of medical donations from PCSO, consisting of 50 wheelchairs, 30 nebulizers, and 30 blood pressure monitors. The donation aims to enhance the province’s capacity to deliver essential healthcare services.
The initiative is part of the PCSO’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program, which aims to enhance community healthcare delivery, particularly in underserved and remote areas. Through the support of Rural Health Units (RHUs) and barangay health stations, PCSO hopes to reach more patients and improve health outcomes across the province.

Local officials expressed their gratitude to PCSO, citing the donation as a significant boost to their ongoing healthcare efforts and a testament to effective public-private collaboration for the greater good.
