Mandaluyong City. Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) Vice Chairperson and General Manager Royina M. Garma signed Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with Agusan del Norte Governor Dale B. Corvera and Hospital Chief Dr. Odelio Y. Ferrer for the donation of Php34 Million worth of medical equipment to Agusan del Norte Provincial Hospital. The MOA signing was held on March 6, 2020 at Sun Plaza Building, Shaw Blvd., Mandaluyong City.
The donation of One (1) Computed Tomography Scanning Machine and One (1) Portable X-Ray Machine to Agusan del Norte Provincial Hospital, a 100 bed capacity that offers Clinical, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Pediatrics and General Surgery services, was approved by the Office of the President thru PCSO Board Resolution No. 0479 s2018 dated December 5, 2018.
Said equipment will benefit the people of the province of Agusan del Norte which consist of 10 Municipalities and 2 cities, and 253 barangays.
PCSO’s Medical Equipment Donation Program provides fund augmentation for the procurement of medical equipment of qualified government hospitals and other health facilities intended to enhance their capability in providing quality health care to indigent patients.
