PCSO Joins Unified Senior Citizens’ Medical and Dental Mission Program in Calamba, Laguna

Calamba City, Laguna – The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) participated in a medical and dental mission program organized by the Unified Senior Citizens of Calamba on August 8, 2025, at the Jose Rizal Coliseum.

Led by Dr. Rouel Aparato and the entire PCSO Medical and Dental Mission Team, numerous senior citizens availed of free medical consultations, dental check-ups and extractions, and electrocardiogram (ECG) services. The PCSO also distributed free medicines and vitamins to the patients in attendance.
Unified Senior Citizens President Winston Malabanan expressed his gratitude to the PCSO for prioritizing the welfare of the elderly, noting that the needs of senior citizens should always be given the attention they deserve.

The initiative was made possible through the collaboration of PCSO with both public and private partners, underscoring the importance of collective efforts in promoting public health. Key partners included PhilHealth, Pamana Medical Center, and the Calamba City Health Office, among others.
Aside from the medical and dental services, the program also included short health talks on proper nutrition, common illnesses among seniors, and the importance of regular check-ups. Informational materials were given to encourage healthy living habits.

Through its active participation in community health initiatives, the PCSO reaffirms its commitment to uplifting the well-being of Filipinos, particularly the elderly, by delivering accessible and quality health services where they are most needed.
