DINGALAN, Aurora | On July 17, 2025, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) visited the scenic municipality of Dingalan, Aurora to distribute ChariTimba food packs to local residents.

Led by PCSO Director Imelda Papin and Aurora OIC-Branch Head Marites Dela Cruz, the agency handed out 500 ChariTimba to various sectors of the community, including senior citizens, youth groups, farmers’ associations, indigenous Domaget residents, barangay workers, and street sweepers. Each pack contained rice, canned goods, and instant noodles.
According to Dir. Papin, the PCSO made its way across the province of Aurora, including Dingalan, to extend assistance to those in need. She also emphasized the agency’s commitment to reaching underserved communities.

Former mayor Sherwin Taay and Vice Mayor Abby Galvez expressed heartfelt gratitude for PCSO’s support to their municipality. “Ang mga timba na ito ang maiiwan sa atin at magpapa-alala na hindi tayo pinabayaan ng PCSO lalo na sa panahon ng kalamidad gaya ng mga bagyong tumatama sa ating mahal na bayan ng Dingalan,” he said.
The initiative is part of PCSO’s mandate and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Program, aligned with President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.’s directive to bring inclusive government services closer to the people.
