The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) distributed 500 Charitimba food packs containing basic food items to the municipality of Pakil, Laguna, on January 14, 2026, at the PCSO Main Office in Shaw Boulevard, Mandaluyong City.
The food packs were formally turned over by Atty. Lyssa Grace Pagano, Assistant General Manager for the Gaming Sector to Pakil, Laguna Mayor Ronald James Hidalgo. According to the mayor, the food packs will be distributed to families affected by the recent typhoon.
The donation forms part of PCSO’s continuing commitment to provide immediate relief and assistance to communities in need, particularly during times of calamities and emergencies.
PCSO remains steadfast in its mandate to extend aid to vulnerable sectors, reinforcing its role as a partner of local government units in promoting social welfare and humanitarian efforts.
