PCSO Provides IPP Partner with ChariTimba, Hygiene Kits, Safety Preparedness Kits

The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO), through its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Program, turned over essential assistance to the Development Action for Women Network (DAWN) on March 18, 2026, at the PCSO Main Office in Mandaluyong City.

Leading the turnover was PCSO Board Director Jennifer Liongson-Guevara, while representing the recipient organization was Executive Director Carmelita Nuqui. DAWN is one of PCSO’s partner institutions under its Institutional Partnership Program (IPP).

During the ceremony, DAWN received a total of 200 ChariTimba food packs, 150 hygiene kits, and 150 Safety Preparedness Kits intended for its beneficiaries in Padre Faura, Manila.

According to the organization, the donated items will be distributed primarily to abused women overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) and to women who are victims of human trafficking. The assistance aims to help address both their immediate needs and long-term welfare.

The turnover also formed part of activities in observance of National Women’s Month, underscoring continuing efforts to empower and protect women, particularly those in vulnerable sectors.

Through this initiative, PCSO reaffirmed its commitment to providing meaningful and responsive assistance through its CSR Program, especially to partner institutions working for the welfare, protection, and recovery of marginalized communities.
