The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) kicked off the new year by reaffirming its commitment to public service through a donation of lifesaving medical equipment to the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP).
In a turnover ceremony held at the PCSO Main Office in Mandaluyong City, Assistant General Manager for Charity Sector Atty. Lauro A. Patiag handed over three Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) worth P485,892.87 to Major Eric Paligat, Company Commander of the 101st Ready Reserve Infantry Brigade Battalion.
The AEDs are expected to play a crucial role in responding to cardiac emergencies during military training and operations, ensuring that soldiers are better equipped to handle life-threatening situations.
PCSO emphasized that the donation reflects its ongoing mission to support Filipinos and promote inclusive communities through its charity programs.
“PCSO, Hindi Umuurong sa Pagtulong!”
