Bukas inaasahan ang physical filing sa Supreme Court nina dating Senior Associate Justice Antonio Carpio at dating Ombudsman Conchita Carpio Morales.
Kaugnay ito ng ika-11 petisyon laban sa Anti-Terrorism Law na inihain sa pamamagitan ng electronic filing nina dating Carpio, Morales, Dating Magdalo Rep. Francisco Ashley Acedillo, Professor Jay Batongbacal, Professor Dante Gatmaytan ng University of the Philippines (UP) College of Law, dating SC Spokesman Atty. Theodore Te at tatlo pang UP Professors.
Sa kanilang petition for certiorari and prohibition, inihirit ng mga petitioners na makapagsagawa agad ang SC ng special raffle sa kaso dahil sa urgency ng naturang usapin.
Humirit din ang mga petitioner ng Temporary Restraining Order o TRO o Status Quo Ante Order para pigilan ang implementasyon ng Anti-Terror Act.
Nais ng grupo na ideklarang null and void ang buong R.A. 11479 o ideklara ang maraming sections ng batas bilang unconstitutional kabilang na dito ang Section 29 patungkol sa pagkukulong sa isang indibidwal kahit na walang warrant of arrest.
Tumatayong respondents sa kaso ang Anti-Terrorism Council, Executive Sec. Salvador Medialdea, National Security Adviser Hermogenes Esperon, at ang mga kalihim ng Dept. of Foreign Affairs (DFA), Department of National Defense (DND), Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG), Finance Department, Department of Justice (DOJ), Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT), at Anti-Money Laudering Council.
