Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO), Vice Chairperson and General Manager Royina Marzan-Garma, represented by Marie Louise Serojales, donated various medical supplies to Philippine National Police (PNP) of Asingan, Pangasinan, and to its local government unit (LGU) at the GM’s Office Extension at the Sun Plaza Building in Mandaluyong City on July 9, 2021.
Patrolman Edwin Antolin Duran, PNP Asingan, Pangasinan representative, received 30 boxes of surgical masks, 19 pieces of personal protective equipment, five boxes of medium sized surgical gloves, and five boxes of large sized surgical gloves from PCSO.
In behalf of the PNP Asingan, Pangasinan, Duran personally expressed gratitude to GM Garma for the donations that they received from the agency.
“Ma’am Garma, maraming salamat po sa binigay ninyong medical supplies para sa PNP Asingan, Pangasinan. Alam po natin na marami pa pong hindi na-iineksyunan sa probinsya at ito po ay magagamit ng PNP sa mga daily operations namin. Maraming salamat sa PCSO at sa inyo po,” he said.
Another recipient was the Municipality of Asingan, Pangasinan requested by Mayor Carlos F. Lopez, Jr. His representative, Administrative Assistant Porferio F. Tendero received 20 wheelchairs from PCSO.
“Ito pong wheelchairs na natanggap namin from PCSO ay gagamitin namin sa LGU para sa mga senior citizens at sa emergency cases dun sa bayan naming sa Asingan, Pangasinan,” the representative of the LGU said.
“Maraming Salamat po sa inyong kabaitan GM Royina Garma at sa naitulong ninyo sa aming lugar na ikinagagalak po namin. Kami po sa bayan ng Asingan ay solid na sumusuporta sa mga proyekto, programa, promosyon at produkto ng PCSO dahil alam namin na napakalaki ng naiitulong ng inyong Ahensya sa lugar namin pati na rin sa iba pang LGU sa buong bansa, kaya marami pong salamat muli,” Tendero added.
PCSO has been working double time to generate more funds in order to provide assistance to indigent Filipinos, especially for those who need medical assistance from the agency during these trying times.
