Para matiyak ang ligtas, maayos at mapayapang Undas ngayong taon, dodoblehin ng Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) kasama na ang Philippine National Police (PNP) ang kanilang on-ground deployment ng police personnel.
Sinabi ni DILG Public Affairs and Communication Service Director Salvacion Baccay, sinabi mismo ni PNP Public Information Office Chief Police Brigadier General Randulf Tuaño na nasa 50,253 police personnel ang ide-deploy sa buong bansa.
Mas marami ito kumpara sa ipinakalat na mga pulis noong nakaraang taon na 21,000 officers.
Sa naturang bilang, nasa 2,288 ang ide-deploy sa mga paliparan, 1,771 sa mga bus station at 1,054 sa mga seaport para aalalay sa mga mananakay.
Ide-deploy naman ang 35,661 personnel sa 5,065 na mga sementeryo at columbaria sa buong bansa at 6,475 ang ipapakalat sa mga motorist assistance hubs at major thoroughfares.
Karagdagang 16,592 uniformed personnel mula sa Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) at iba pang allied agencies ang imo-mobilize para da public assistance at emergency response.
