Manila, Philippines – Kukuha ang Supreme Court (Supreme Court), na siya ring tumatayong Presidential Electoral Tribunal (PET), ng animnapung contractual workers para sa recount ng mga boto kaugnay ng election protest ni dating Senator Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. laban kay Vice President Leni Robredo.
Sila ay bibigyan ng suweldo na P14,586 hanggang P30,000 bilang contractual employees.
Kabilang sa kukunin ng PET ay finance consultant, secretaries, ballot box handlers at custodians, copy machine operators, utility workers/messengers, locks custodians, drivers, tabulators, at data encoders.
Inaprubahan din ng tribunal ang amendment ng 2010 PET Rules na nagpapahintulot sa hindi abogado para maging qualified sa position bilang coordinator ng revision committees at otorisado sa pagpuno sa posisyon ng recorder.
