PRESS STATEMENT OF POLICE REGIONAL OFFICE 12 REGARDING THE IED EXPLOSION TRANSPIRED AT CARLITO’S CHICKEN HAUS, AT NATIONAL HIGHWAY, KALAWAG 2, ISULAN, SULTAN KUDARAT AT ABOUT 3:15 PM , APRIL 3, 2019.
Police Regional Office (PRO) 12 under the leadership of PBGEN ELISEO TAM RASCO, Regional Director condemns in the strongest possible terms the bombing of Carlito’s Chicken House which took place at about 3:15 PM of April 3, 2019 in the Municipality of Isulan, Sultan Kudarat.
The said bombing have wounded eighteen (18) persons who are now under medical treatment in different hospitals in Isulan. Initial investigation shows that the motive behind the incident is extortion.
Police force of PRO 12 has already taken actions to identify the suspects behind the said incident as directed by RD Rasco. He also directed to tighten security measures in Isulan as well as in nearby provinces.
PRO 12 expresses deep sympathy to the wounded persons who got caught in the blast and reassures them that the police are on top of the situation and that justice will certainly prevail.

Meanwhile, the public is strongly advised to be extra vigilant and be mindful of unattended belongings within vicinity. Kindly report suspicious persons to the nearest police stations or AFP camps.
