Nakiusap ang bagong talagang Police Regional Director ng Western Visayas na si Rene Pamuspusan sa mga kagawad ng pulisya sa kanyang nasasakupan na pagbutihin ang kanilang tungkulin.
Ginawa ni Pamuspusan ang apela matapos niyang ihayag ang kanyang mga balakin para sa reporma na nakaangkla sa mga programa ng Philippine National Police (PNP).
“To our personnel in Region 6, you have proven that you are good at what you do as a policeman and I know that you are prepared to face the next challenge. Attend well to your task and just be good at it,” pahayag ni Pamuspusan matapos niyang i-anunsiyo ang kanyang mga programa para sa Police Regional Office 6 (PRO 6) sa press conference sa Camp Delgado sa Fort San Pedro, Iloilo City nitong July 17.
Sa ilalim ng pamunuan ni Pamuspusan, ipatutupad ng Regional Police Office-6 ang tuloy-tuloy na reporma, internal cleansing sa pamamagitan ng gabay ng mga matataas na opisyales sa lahat ng lebel ng PNP, pagiging pro-active at implementasyon ng mga matalino na mga polisiya.
“We have an achieving and soaring Police Regional Office 6. This office has proven that it is on the right path towards the accomplishment of the PNP’s strategic direction – in terms of performance and in terms of reformation. And I fully commit to sustain the gains as we continue to raise the bar of police service by strengthening our commitment in pursuing the programs of the PNP,” saad ni Pamuspusan.
Ayon kay Pamuspusan, sa pamamagitan ng sustained reformation ay mabebenipisyuhan ang PRO 6 “through the continuous efforts in addressing the gaps on Human Resource, Infrastructure and Equipment; as well as bringing the police of Western Visayas closer to our institutional partners.”
Itutulak din niya ang sistema ng mentoring para mapaunlad ang mga tauhan sa kaniyang nasasakupan at maging susunod na lider sa kani-kanilang sariling kapasidad.
Ipatutupad din ng hepe ng PRO 6 ang pro-active and smart policing sa pamamagitan ng pagtutok sa paggamit ng teknolohiya sa crime prevention and law enforcement operations, partikular na sa pagsugpo sa iligal na droga at krimen.
Bago maitalaga bilang Western Visayas PNP regional director si Pamuspusan ay nagsilbi rin bilang hepe ng Philippine National Police’s Headquarters Support Service.
