
SENATOR Ramon Bong Revilla, Jr. received a major boost to his re-election bid as local officials from Quezon City threw their full support behind his candidacy. The endorsement was made Thursday (April 2) during a gathering attended by barangay officials and Sangguniang Kabataan Chairpersons of all 142 barangays in Quezon City.
Present as well are some city councilors who raised their hands in endorsing Senator Bong Revilla. They were QC Council Majority Leader Dra. Doray Delarmente, Councilor Candy Medina, Councilor Wency Lagumbay, Councilor Atty. Vincent Belmonte, ABC President Jose Maria Rodriguez, and SK Federation President Sami Neri. Their collective show of support is a testament to the long-time public servant’s deep ties with Quezon City and its local leadership.
In addition to their endorsement, Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte had previously declared Senator Bong Revilla as the city’s No. 1 Senator, recognizing his unwavering dedication to public service and his tireless efforts to improve the lives of ordinary Filipinos.
During his speech, the solon highlighted the vital role barangays play in implementing his key campaign platforms, including “Disenteng Hanapbuhay at Kita”, “Pagkain sa Bawat Hapag”, and “Benepisyo sa mga Nangangailangan.”
He emphasized that his slogan, “Aksyon sa Tunay na Buhay”, is best exemplified by the barangays, which are at the forefront of public service, directly engaging with and serving the people.
