Natanggap na ng Office of the Solicitor General (OSG) ang kopya ng resolusyon ng Korte Suprema na pinagkokomento ang respondents partikular ang ilang opisyal ng gobyerno sa consolidated petition for habeas corpus na inihain ng magkakapatid na Duterte.
Ayon kay Solicitor General Menardo Guevarra, natanggap nila ngayong Biyernes ng hapon ang kopya ng resolusyon na inaatasan silang magkomento kung bakit hindi sila dapat maglabas ng peremptory writ of habeas corpus.
Pero dahil weekend bukas, sa Lunes na nila isusumite ang sagot sa petisyon ng magkakapatid na sina Davao First District Representative Paolo Duterte, Mayor Baste Duterte at dating presidential daughter na si Veronica Duterte.
Hinihiling nila na agad mapauwi sa Pilipinas ang amang si dating Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte na inilipad patungong The Hague noong Martes ng gabi matapos arestuhin sa bisa ng warrant mula sa International Criminal Court.
Kinukuwestiyon din ang naging aksyon nina Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin, Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Secretary Jonvic Remulla at Philippine National Police (PNP) Chief Rommel Marbil sa pagpapatupad ng arrest warrant kay Duterte.
Nais din ng petisyon na ipatigil ang pakikipagtulungan pa ng gobyerno ng Pilipinas sa International Criminal Court (ICC).
Bukod sa tatlong opisyal, respondents din sa petisyon sina Justice Secretary Boying Remulla, Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) Chief Nicolas Torre III, Solicitor General Menardo Guevarra, Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) Secretary Enrique Manalo, Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) Chief of Staff Gen. Romeo Brawner Jr. at dating Immigration Commissioner Norman Tansingco.
