Posibleng makatanggap ng salary increase ang mga nurse na nagtatrabaho sa gobyerno oras na maaprubahan ang isang espesyal na probisyon ukol dito sa ilalim ng 2021 national budget.
Ang panukala ay inihain ni Misamis Occidental 2nd District Representative Henry Oaminal sa House plenary debate kahapon para sa proposed budget ng Department of Health sa susunod na taon.
Sa ilalim nito, ang sumusunod na Salary Grade (SG) adjustment ay ipatutupad:
- Nurse 1 – from SG 11 to SG 15
- Nurse 2 – from SG 15 to SG 17
- Nurse 3 – from SG 17 to SG 19
- Nurse 4 – from SG 19 to SG 20
- Nurse 5 – from SG 20 to SG 22
- Nurse 6 – from SG 22 to SG 24
- Nurse 7 – from SG 24 to SG 25
Base sa second tranche ng Salary Standardization Law of 2019 na nakatakdang magsimula sa January 2021, ito ay katumbas ng sweldong mula P33,575 hanggang P98,886 para sa mga government nurses.
Suportado naman ng Department of Health (DOH) at ni House Committee on Appropriations Vice Chair Representative Micaela Violago ang proposal ni Oaminal.
