Sa pakighinabi sa DXDC RMN Davao kang Edward Macapili, Executive Assistant on Information and Communications sa Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDRRMO) Davao de Oro, iyang gipasabot nga search and retrieval operation na unta sa mga patay’ng lawas ang ilang buhaton apan tungod sa pagkaluwas sa 3 anyos nga bata sulod sa 60 ka oras ilawom sa midahiling yuta, nakadesisyon sila kauban ang mga opisyales nga ipadayon ang search and rescue karong adlawa, Sabado, February 10, 2024.
Samtang giklaro sab ni Macapili nga dili usa nila ikumpirma ang balitang adunay 2-month-old baby ang naluwas gikan sa landslide tungod ginaberipika pa kini sa response team ug gitagaan sila og mando sa Incident Command Post (ICP) nga dili sa magpagula og impormasyon bahin niini.
“Our cluster response team is still validating that. We will not give any confirmation as far as the 2-month-old baby is concerned. Pero yung isang bata naman, yung allegedly 3 year old yan, we cannot confirm because we are given order by the Incident Command Post (ICP) na huwag muna mag-disclose even the age of the victim. Pero lumabas naman sa social media na parang 3 year old yung bata, we are confirming that. But the other one, the 2-month-old, we are still validating kasi our rescue team has no knowledge with that. Bigla nalang sumulpot dun sa may red cross.”
