Nanalo ng gintong parangal ang space suit na inimbento at dinisenyo ng mga estudyanteng Pinoy na lumahok sa isang international robotics contest sa Turkey, nakaraang linggo.
Binubuo ng 10 estudyante at dalawang coach mula sa Dr. Yanga’s College Inc., ang Philippine Robotics National Team na nasa likod ng waging “Project Mu.S.C.A.”
Ang naimbentong special suit ay para umano matulungan ang mga astronaut sa musculoskeletal problems habang nasa outer space, at maiwasan ang pagkawala ng bone and muscle mass dahil sa microgravity environment.
Binati naman ng Department of Science and Technology (DOST) ang mga waging estudyante.
“The Philippine Robotics National Team made the country proud and opened doors for future robotics experts. Robotics will play a crucial role in the country’s transition to Industrial Revolution 4.0,” ani DOST-Science Education Institute Director Dr. Josette Biyo.
Sina Gwyneth Sabusap, Aaron James Amar, Annette Nicole Ambi, Shervie Dela Cruz, Michael Ronnie Estrella, Andrea Luz Guevarra, Daniella De Guzman, Nicole Flores, Gabriel Ortega, Renz Daren Flaviano, Coach Romyr Gimeno at Assistant Coach RV Mendoza ang utak sa likod nito.
