Davao City – Samtang gi-komerar nato ang ‘Todos Los Santos’ nga usa sa mga aktibidad diin nailhan kaayo kitang mga Pilipino, higayon usab kini nga kita magnilaynilay, ‘ika nga nila.
Mao kini ang panahon diin maayo tingali kun mangutana ‘ta sa atong kaugalingon kun kumusta na ang kahimtang sa atong kalag ug espiritu.
Motoo ba ‘ta sa kinabuhing dayon human ning atong pisikal nga realidad ug tawhanon, unodnong lawas?
Motoo ba ‘ta nga kining atong pagkinabuhi karon dili kini maoy pinal ug katapusang realidad, that there is more to life than this mere physical existence or ours today?
Sama sa uban, ako usab hugot nga nagtoo that there indeed is an afterlife, a life after death, as it were.
I believe that we were not created by God simply to stay in this planet for our personal gratification for the rest of our days.
I happen to believe that when the hands of the Almighty molded us, He designed us with utmost care, “fearfully and wonderfully made” (Psalm 139:14).
This goes to show how special we are in the sight of God, each and every living soul, that no human invention in the whole of history can compare or approximate this wonder of God’s creation: Man.
There is life after death because even Christ stretched His hands on the cross of Calvary because God loved us so very very much (John 3:16). That is how special each and every one of us in the sight of our Maker.
Samtang hinumdomon nato ang diwa kun meaning sa kinabuhi ug kamatayon, atong hinumdomon kanunay nga though mawala man kita ibabaw ning kalibutana because man is mortal, though motaliwan man ang atong mga mahal sa kinabuhi usahay magbilin pa ug mapait ug masakit nga kagahapon, dili nato kalimtan nga kining tanan temporaryo kun lumalabay lamang.
Nga kitang tanan byahedor kun pilgrims lamang ning kalibutana: Our final destination is that beautiful place in the far beyond made up of mansions, back in the arms and presence of the One who first crafted us out of a great kind of love beyond compare. God bless us!
