Davao City – More than just mere strategy for achieving peace, what is more important and more paramount to me is the ingredient of sincerity of the negotiating panels sitting in one common table.

Dili ko partikular sa porma, whether it is localized or national peace negotiations because what I believe is that it is not form but the substance that will really matter.

The bottomline is the determination on both sides to resolve the origins of the conflict especially since whatever peace dividends we can harvest, they will be our common heritage, our common legacy for the next generations, for the generations yet unborn, for those who will come after us: Our children and our children’s children as well.
