Bubuo ang Commission on Elections (Comelec) ng team na binubuo ng ilang ahensya ng gobyerno para palakasin ang hakbang kontra vote buying.
Ayon kay Comelec Commissioner George Garcia, ang Inter-Agency Task Force Kontra Bigay ay ilulunsad sa susunod na linggo.
Sinabi ni Garcia na ang task force ay tutugon sa motu propio at formal complaints na may kinalaman sa vote buying.
Ang task force ay binubuo ng Comelec, Department of Justice, Department of Interior and Local Government, Presidential Anti-Corruption Commission (PACC), National Bureau of Investigation (NBI), Philippine National Police (PNP), Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), at ang Philippine Information Agency (PIA).
