The LCF EXPO is held annually by the League of Corporate Foundations members and CSR practitioners with the aim of exhibiting and sharing best practices and knowledge about Corporate Social Responsibility engagement and management of each business entity.
According to Mr. Sebastian Quiniones, Jr., Chairman of the League of Corporate Foundations and Executive Director of the Pilipinas Shell Foundation Incorporated, the theme of the event is “Extra to Essential,” which apart from following the laws, is the full embodiment of the principle of good corporate citizenship through accountable governance, transparency and accountability. He added that it is important to implement them properly in all aspects of each organization’s programs.
Speakers from the private and public sectors emphasized the importance and potential prospects in implementing an Environment, Social, and Governance (ESG) structure and reporting in each business entity more than Corporate Social Responsibility organizations.
