Inaprubahan na ni Pangulong Rodrido Duterte na makasama ang bansang Indonesia sa travel ban na ipinatutupad ng Pilipinas.
Ayon kay Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque, epektibo ang travel ban simula alas-12:01 ng madaling-araw ng July 16 at magtatagal hanggang alas-11:59 ng gabi ng July 31.
Layon aniya nitong maiwasan ang pagkalat ng Delta COVID-19 variants sa Pilipinas na laganap na sa Indonesia.
“Passengers already in transit from the abovementioned country, and all those who have been to the same within 14 days immediately preceding arrival to the Philippines, who arrive before 12:01AM of July 12, 2021, may still be allowed to enter the country but will be required to undergo a full 14-day facility quarantine notwithstanding a negative RT-PCR result.” pahayag ni Roque.
