This is to inform the general public that on February 22, 2018 there will be a Traffic Rerouting and Temporary road closure on Entire A.B. Fernandez Ave. and Perez Boulevard to give way for our young athletes for their victory parade for winning the over-all championship of the recently concluded R1AA. (revised version as of February 20, 2018)
1. VICTORY PARADE
• Start of Traffic Rerouting / Road Closure :2:00 P.M
• Assembly Time :3:00 P.M.
• Assembly Area : Perez blvd. corner Guilig/Burgos st.
• Start of Parade :3:30 P.M.
2. PARADE ROUTE: From Perez/Guilig turn right to Perez Blvd. to M.H Del Pilar, A.B Fernandez Avenue and ends at the City Plaza
3. TRAFFIC REROUTING:
3.1 FOR PUBLIC UTILITY VEHICLES (JEEPNEYS/MINI BUSES) FROM THE WEST DIRECTION:
– From Tapuac Road, PUJs will turn left at the corner of Burgos Extension-Amado Street, exiting at the corner Amado-Tapuac turning right back to destination; MINI BUSES u-turn at shell gasoline station infront of City Astrodome back to destination.
– BIG TRUCKS / BUSES FROM WEST DIRECTION shall turn right at Tapuac – Lucao old De Venecia Highway, exiting at the corner of Calasiao-old De Venecia hi-way intersection.
3.2 FOR PUBLIC UTILITY VEHICLES FROM THE SOUTH DIRECTION (JEEPNEY’S BOUND TO SAN CARLOS, MALASIQUI, AND CALASIAO AND MINI BUSES):
– Negotiate a U turn at the former Dominion Terminal Compound in Mayombo District, back to destination.
3.3 FOR PUBLIC UTILITY VEHICLES FROM SOUTH DIRECTION (JEEPNEY’S BOUND TO STA. BARBARA):
– Turn right at the corner of Banaoang – Malued intersection and turn left at the corner Malued-Malta Road, towards Tapuac turning left at the corner of Lucao-Tapuac Road; towards old De Venecia Highway back to destination.
3.4 FOR PUBLIC UTILITY VEHICLES FROM THE NORTH DIRECTION (JEEPNEY’S BOUND TO GUESET, BOQUIG, BINLOC):
– From Arellano-Bani, turn right at Rioferio Road, exiting Nel Ars turn left towards destination.
3.5 FOR PUBLIC UTILITY VEHICLES FROM THE EAST DIRECTION (JEEPNEY’S BOUND TO MANAOAG, SAN FABIAN, MAPANDAN, MANGALDAN, POZURROBIO, SAN JACINTO, SALISAY, TAMBAC, BOLOSAN, MANGIN):
– From ABF East, turn left at PNR Site Road, and turn left to Barrera Compound, then turn right exiting towards destination.
– Buses, Mini Buses, and Trucks may turn left at the corner of Tambac-Mangin Road, exiting at Tebeng – Caranglaan Road.
3.6 FOR PUBLIC UTILITY VEHICLES DOWNTOWN LOOP AND CSI LUCAO
– From the time of closure Downtown and CSI Lucao Jeepneys are not allowed to transverse on their route.
NOTE: Light and Medium Private Vehicles may take any of the rerouting options and/or side streets not affected by the Road Closure.
Malta – Malued – One way Traffic from East to West Direction only.
Amado – Tapuac – One way Traffic from East to West Direction only.
