Inilunsad ni Vice President Leni Robredo ang apprenticeship program para sa 400 out-of-school youth para bigyan sila ng trabaho sa panahon ng pandemya.
Ang programa ay tatawaging “TrabaHOPE” na magbibigay ng technical-vocational skills trainings sa mga out-of-school youths na may edad 18 hanggang 30.
Ayon kay Robredo, magbibigay sila ng scholarships at magiging libre rin ang training at allowance.
Ang employment opportunities na maaring pasukin pagkatapos ng training ay sa Information Technology at service crew.
Ang Office of the Vice President (OVP) ay nakipag-partner sa United States Agency for International Development (USAID) para magbigay ng trabaho sa out-of-school youths.
Ang hakbang na ito ay ikatlong bahagi ng “Bayanihanapbuhay” initiative ng OVP, kasunod ng paglulunsad ng job listings platform na Sikap.PH para sa displaced workers at Iskaparate.com website para sa maliliit na entrepreneurs na nais ibenta ang kanilang produkto online.
