Davao City- Gilusad karong adlawa ang pinakaunang Comprehensive Agreement on Respect for Human Rights and International Humanitarian Law (CARHRIHL) compliance monitoring station sa Pilipinas nga naka-base dinhi sa dakbayan sa Davao.
Gikanayon ni Atty. Antonio Arellano sa supervising panel sa GRP Monitoring Committee nga ang monitoring station maoy mudawat ug murekord og mga reklamo kalabot sa wala pagsubay sa mga kasabutan sulod sa CARHRIHL ug i-endorso ang maong mga complaints nga gituohang nahimo sa pwersa sa gobyerno o sa mga rebelde.
“You gave your word to abide by this document then you have to do that. Remember CARHRIHL is for the people and the people must own it. Kasi civilians tayo alam natin may rebellion pero hindi tayo dapat isali sa labanan nila… kaya itong CARHRIHL is meant to protect us,” matud ni Arellano.
Ang syudad sa Davao pa lamang sa napulo ka rehiyon ang adunay monitoring station nga nahimutang sa Regional Prosecution Office XI, Hall Of Justice, Ecoland ning syudad.
Ang pilot monitoring station panguluhan ni Department Of Justice Davao Region Deputy Regional Prosecutor Atty. Barbara Mae Flores kinsa miyembro sa GRP Monitoring Committee.
