Mandaluyong City. The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office celebrated its 87th year Anniversary festivities kicked off with the flag honouring duties facilitated by the Charity Assistance Department. The Agency’s Officials headed by Vice Chairperson and General Manager Royina Marzan Garma was then introduced together with the Assistant General Managers, Arnel N. Casas of the Management Services Sector, Remeliza M. Gabuyo of the Administrative Sector, Larry R. Cedro of the Gaming Sector and Atty. Lauro A. Patiag of the Branch Operations Sector on Monday, 25 October , 2021 at the Conservatory Building, Mandaluyong City.
GM Garma then delivered her message to the public and the employees, who showed resiliency despite the hardships brought about by the pandemic. Chairman Anselmo Simeon P. Pinili also delivered his warm greetings and message afterwards and congratulated the employees and patrons who supported the Agency.
The highlight of the kick off celebration was the unveiling of the photo exhibit located at the Conservatory Building accommodated by decorative photo walls located at the 2nd floor, 3rd floor, 4th floor, 10th and 11th floor of the Sun Plaza. Selected photos taken during the pandemic and other recent catastrophes show PCSO’s involvement and participation in healing the nation. The event was covered on live stream in collaboration with teams from the Information Technology Services Department (ITSD) and Corporate Planning Departments (CPD). The theme “Larong may Puso para sa Kawanggawa at Pag-ahon sa Pandemya” was adopted for photo content.
A brief mass celebration followed afterwards and some photo opportunities with employees with the Agency executives.
The event concluded with the roll out of the rekorida assigned roving vehicle en route to Mandaluyong City, Pasig City, City of Manila and Quezon City.
