Nagpatupad ng reorganisasyon sa Department of Agriculture (DA) ang bagong kalihim na si Francisco Tiu Laurel Jr.
Ito ay upang mapaghusay pa ang operasyon ng ahensya alinsunod sa direktiba ni Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos Jr., na gawing moderno ang sektor ng agrikultura at mapatatag ang suplay ng pagkain sa bansa.
Si Senior Agriculture Undersecretary Leocadio Sebastian ay itinalagang adviser ni Secretary Laurel at miyembro ng Technical Advisory Group na tututok sa farm sector, partikular sa rice production.
Una nang naitalaga si Sebastian noong Pebrero 2023 bilang Undersecretary for the Rice Industry Development Program.
Itinalaga naman si Undersecretary Nichols Manalo na director ng National Rice Program, ang posisyon na hinawakan din ni Sebastian.
Si Manalo rin ang Officer-in-Charge-Director ng Field Operations Service, at director ng National Corn Program.
Full-time spokesman naman na DA si Assistant Secretary Arnel de Mesa.
Si OIC-Undersecretary for Operations Roger Navarro ay itinalagang OIC-Undersectary for Rice Industry Development, OIC-national project director ng Philippine Rural Development Project, at OIC-Assistant Secretary for Operations.
Si Undersecretary for Fisheries Drusila Esther Bayate ay itinalagang Undersecretary for Policy, Planning and Regulations.
Si Undersecretary Mercedita Sombilla ay mangangasiwa na sa operations at pagko- coordinate ng mga programa ng DA Bureaus.
Si Chief Administrative Officer at OIC director for financial and management service Thelma Tolentino ay itinalaga sa kaniyang kasalukuyang posisyon Undersecretary-designate for Finance.
Si Undersecretary Agnes Catherine Miranda ay susubaybay naman sa operations, at magko-coordinate ng programs ng DA Attached Agencies at Corporations.
Bumuo rin si Secretary Tiu Laurel Jr. ng team, na tututok sa mga concerns at requests ng DA patungo sa Office of the President-Presidential Management Staff.
