Humingi ng paumanhin ang Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) kay Nancy Boroc, ang babaeng walang mga binti na hindi pinapasok ng guwardiya upang makipagtransaksiyon dahil naka-shorts.
“The Bureau of Internal Revenue had profoundly expressed its apologies towards Ms. Boroc for the inconvenience it has brought her and will be more sensitive to the rights of PWDs,” pahayag ng kagawaran.
Matatandaan na nag-viral ang Facebook post at Youtube ni Boroc sa social media dahil hindi siya pinapasok ng guwardiya sa tanggapan ng BIR.
Ipinaliwanag din ng district officer ng Calbayog City kay Ceasar Delos Santos, chairman ng PWD Affairs, ang detalye sa nangyaring insidente at upang humingi ng paumanhin.
“Further, grievances and allegations coursed through the different complaint channels particular to this issue were already answered and clarified in a formal letter-reply addressed directly to the concerned complainant,” pahayag nito.
