Port of Aparri serves as the motherport port of Subports of Laoag, Currimao, and Irene in the Northern Luzon. These ports has an international trade potential for the Provinces of Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, Cagayan to countries such as South Korea, China, Japan and Taiwan.
