Ipinalabas na ng Department of Interior and Local Government ang opisyal na listahan ng mga AWARDEES para sa 2017 Seal of Good Local Governance.
Nakapagtataka lang… WALA SA LISTAHAN ang NAGA CITY at CAMARINES SUR sa mga 2017 SGLG AWARDEES.
Ayon sa listahan, sa buong Region 5 (Bicol Region), 1 probinsiya lamang, 3 siyudad at 8 munisipyo ang mga awardess. Ito ay kinabibilangan ng mga sumusunod:
For Region 5 (Bicol Region), CONTRATULATIONS!!! to the 2017 Seal of Good Local Governance Awardees:
1- Province – Albay 3 – Cities – Legaspi City, Masbate City, Sorsogon City 7 – Municipalities – Basud, Paracale, Canaman, Siruma, Virac, Placer, Juban.

Ayon pa sa pamantayan ng DILG, ” To qualify for the SGLG, LGUs must comply with the ‘4+1’ assessment criteria. LGUs ought to pass four core areas namely financial administration, disaster preparedness, social protection, and the new additional area peace and order. They must also pass at least one essential area, either, business friendliness and competitiveness; tourism, culture and the arts; or environmental protection. #SGLG2017

Nangangahulugan na dapat positibong mapagtagumpayan at mapasahan ng LGU ang hindi isa, hindi 2, hindi 3, hindi 4, kundi 5 (4+1) core areas bilang assessment criteria plus isa pang essential area sa hanay ng business, culture and arts, o di kaya’y sa usapin ng environmental protection.
