Meet Dayjob — a local band composed of three members, Zeck on guitars and backup vocals, Kael on lead vocals and also on guitars, and their drummer, Mark.
The band was formed when they met at the Mindanao Band Festival in 2016 where they came as members of two different bands, Juicy Jam Jackfruit and Wenyoz. One of their aims in making music is to promote the local dialect in the independent music scene through their original songs.
So far, Dayjob has already made 5 original music. Their musical influences are Missing Felimon, Orange and Lemons, Vitas, The Beatles, Eheads, Bloomfields. They named the band “Dayjob” because all three members have their own jobs during the daytime while they do gigs at night.
The band is now looking forward to having a new member soon.
