Davao City – Mipakita og suporta ang Department og Education (DepEd-XI) sa baroganan ni Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio nga dili una magpahigayon og limited face-to-face classes sa syudad sa Davao human gikonsidera ni DepEd Secretary Leonor Briones ang Davao Region alang niini.
Sa interbyu sa DXDC RMN Davao kang Jenielito Atillo, Spokesperson sa DepEd-XI, gibutyag niini nga padayong mosunod ang DepEd sa desisyon gikan sa Office of the President subay sa rekomendasyon sa Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) ug ang pagdawat sa Local Government Unit (LGU) niini.
“Ang pagpahilona sa face-to-face learning modality if ever we will be given the approval by the Office of the President by the IATF, ang posisyon nato diha is that we really have to listen to the wisdom and the position of the LGU,” segun ni Atillo.
Gipasabot ni Atillo, ang pagtugot sa face-to-face classes usa ka shared responsibility labi na sa LGU nga maoy mas nasayod kung mamahimo na ba kining himuon sa kondisyon nga dili makompromiso ang health ug safety sa mga kabataan o estudyante.
“If ever there is a green light given by the Office of the President pero ang Local Government Unit will not subscribe to that, let’s say for example because of the condition or situation sa ilang tagsa-tagsa ka mga lugar, then we will always abide, we will respect (their decision),” tataw ni Atillo.
Dugang sa DepEd-XI official nga bisan usab og itugot sa DepEd, IATF ug LGU ang face-to-face classes, anaa gihapon ang pinal nga desisyon sa mga ginikanan kung tugotan ang ilang anak alang niini ug irespito gihapon ang ilang disesyon.
