Direk Erik Matti, pinuri si Anne Curtis sa kanyang latest film na BuyBust

Sa kanyang Instagram account, nag-post ang Direktor na si Erik Matti ng larawan ng aktres na si Anne Curtis habang nasa shooting ng kanilang pelikulang BuyBust. Sa kanyang post, pinuri ng direktor ang aktres sa pagiging cooperative nito sa lahat ng mabibigat na eksenang pinagawa nila kay Anne ng walang naririnig na reklamo.

We just locked audio production for #BuyBust. And after watching the entire film again, I can’t help but think about all the crazy things we asked @annecurtissmith to do. She’s a star! And to ask for such unconventional things from stars; to ask her to be dragged on a table full of breakables, to light her on fire with no double, to demand 3 days of gruelling 57 takes of 3-minute one tracking shot all night through with rain, jumps, punches and kicks is not at all easy. Stars who are willing to do what it takes for certain roles they feel are memorable, just like Nora and Vilma, are not too many. Others will have too many rules. Some will take shortcuts and not break out a drop of sweat. A lot of them will spend more time looking at the mirrors than doing the actual scenes. And most of them will think that that is already what committment means. And looking at the roles she’s been accepting with #SidandAya and her new horror film, Anne Curtis Smith is the real deal. She’s a celebrity second. And a really good actor first.

Ayon kay Direk Erik, matapos niyang muling mapanood ang pelikula sa kabuuan nito, naalala niya muli ang lahat ng stunts sa bawat eksenang ipinagawa kay Anne. Katulad ng pagkaladkad sa aktres sa la mesang may mga babasagin, pagsindi ng apoy sa aktres ng walang body double at iba pa.

Dagdag pa niya, sa dami ng kanyang nakatrabahong artista sa industriya, may iba talaga na mas ginugugol pa ang panahon sa harapan ng salamin kaysa sa mga actual scenes nito, “A lot of them will spend more time looking at the mirrors than doing the actual scenes. Pagkatapos ng post ng direktor, sumagot si Anne sa comment section. Mula sa kanyang kumento nagpapasalamat ang aktres, aniya,“Direk. Wait lang. Nakakaiyak. Thank you. Thank you thank you thank you a million times for your kind words.
“I could never be more grateful for allowing this script to fall into my lap. Mañigan brought out what I could give as an actress to a whole different level. She’s one for the books for me.
