Magsasagawa na ng regular na inspeksyon ang Department of Justice o DOJ sa New Bilibid Prisons o NBP sa Muntilupa City.
Ayon kay Justice Undersecretary for Correctional System Deo Marco, kabilang siya sa mga miyembro ng oversight committee na binuo ni Justice Secretary Menardo Guevarra na sasama sa inspeksyon.
Napagkasunduan aniya ng lupon na regular na magtungo sa Bilibid para personal na makita ang sitwasyon doon.
Ito ay habang wala pang naitatalaga si Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte na bagong director sa Bureau of Corrections o BuCor.
Tiniyak naman ni Marco na tuloy-tuloy din ang trabaho ng BuCor, sa kabila ng preventive suspension ng Office of the Ombudsman sa mahigit 30 opisyal at tauhan ng BuCor.
Patuloy din ang imbestigasyon ng National Bureau of Investigation o NBI sa nabulgar na “GCTA for Sale” at “Hospital Pass for Sale.”
