Inilunsad ng Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) ang Rural Agro-Enterprise Partnership for inclusive Development (RAPID) growth project na inaasahang maglilikha ng mga trabaho sa anim na rehiyon sa Mindanao.
Layunin ng proyekto na dalhin ang trabaho, negosyo at kabuhayan sa mga rural community.
Target nito ang mga beneficiaries na nasa 78,000 farming households, 1,000 cooperatives, farm associations at micro-enterprises at 50 small and medium enterprises.
Sa pamamagitan ng programa, madadagdagan ang production capacities ng mga magsasaka at makakapaglikha pa ng mga negosyo at trabaho, na magpapataas sa kita ng mga magsasaka at mga maliliit na negosyante.
Ayon kay DTI-Regional Operations Group Undersecretary Blesila Lantayona – palalakasin nito ang mga sektor ng cacao, kape, buko, mani, at prutas.
Katuwang ng DTI ang Department of Agriculture, Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) at Philippine Coconut Authority (PCA).
