Pinalalakas ng Globe ang ground efforts nito upang itulak ang mga Globe At Home Prepaid WiFi, Globe Prepaid, at TM customers na tapusin ang kanilang SIM registration sa o bago ang July 25 deadline, sa paglalagay ng 50 registration help desks sa key locations sa buong bansa.
Ang assistance desks ay idinedeploy sa mga lugar na may pinakamataas na concentration ng hindi pa rin rehistradong Globe At Home Prepaid WiFi SIM users at matatagpuan sa accessible places tulad ng barangay halls, gas stations, shopping centers, gyms, at basketball courts na malapit sa target communities.

For this round, we are especially targeting Home Prepaid WiFi users who still have unregistered SIMs. Failure to comply will result in the disconnection of crucial mobile services, which will disrupt daily life. Ang registration assistance ay inaalok din sa Globe Stores and EasyHubs sa buong bansa. Para sa karagdagang convenience, maaaring gamitin ng Globe Prepaid TM, at Globe At Home Prepaid WiFi customers ang GlobeOne app at Globe’s SIM registration microsite (https://new.globe.com.ph/simreg), na available 24/7. Maaari ring gamitin ng fully-verified GCash account holders ang GCash app.
Ang mga detalye ng Globe Postpaid, Globe Business Postpaid, at Globe Platinum subscribers ay idinagdag na sa SIM registration database.
Ang SIMs na hindi naiparehistro matapos ang July 30 ay permanente nang ide-deactivate. Ang mga user ay hindi na magagamit ang mobile services na call, text, at mobile data browsing. Hindi na rin makatatanggap ang mga customer ng kanilang OTPs para sa iba’t ibang transaksiyon tulad ng GCash, iba pang online banks, e-commerce platforms, content streaming services, at iba pa. Mawawalann na rin ng bisa ang existing load at promo registrations.
Ang SIM registration process ay minamandato sa ilalim ng Republic Act No. 11934 o ang SIM Registration Act (SRA), na layong protektahan ang mga consumer mula sa potential fraudulent activities at cyber threats.
