Bilang parte ng pagdiriwang ng Diversity and Inclusion week, inimbitahan ng Sofitel Philippine Plaza ang ilang indibidwal mula sa Down Syndrome Association of the Philippines.
Layunin ng isa sa pinakasikat na hotel sa Pilipinas ibida at ipakita ang talento, galing, at kakayahan ng mga taong may down syndrome.
“Differences can be challenging, but it is what makes us stronger. As we celebrate Diversity and Inclusion Week, we invited individuals from the Down Syndrome Association of the Philippines to show their fullest potential in the workplace and prove that they are able and empowered. See them on their last day of simulation today with their work buddies at their assigned areas at the hotel,” pahayag ng Sofitel Philippine Plaza sa kanilang Facebook page.
Itinalaga sa iba’t-ibang pasilidad ng hotel ang special children at bakas sa kanilang mukha ang kasiyahan sa mga tungkuling ginagawa.
Isang seminar ang idinaos din para sa mga empleyado ng Sofitel upang maunawaang lubos ang kondisyon ng mga taong may down syndrome.
Taos-pusong pinasalamatan ng nasabing non-government organization (NGO) ang kilalang hotel sa partnership program na ito.
