Ang pelikulang I Love You, Hater ang pagbabalik ni Kris Aquino at pang-apat na pagsasama ni Joshua Garcia at Julia Barretto sa big screen.
Sa unang limang araw ay kumita na ito ng P40 million ayon sa Star Cinema noong July 15. Inilabas ng Star Cinema ang impormasyong ito matapos magpost sa Instagram si Kris na disappointed siya sa box-office performance nito.
Ibinahagi naman ng kanilang Director na si Giselle Andres kung ano ang vision nila sa pelikula. “When we were coming up with a concept, we had a hard time because they were already established. We challenged ourselves to come up with a concept that will show a different side of them.”
Dagdag pa rito ay si Kris Aquino lang talaga ang naisip nilang gumanap para sa role ni lady boss. “Initially, I thought she may not accept the project but when she agreed, I became so nervous because she is Kris Aquino. To my pleasant surprise, I didn’t have any problems at all.”
