The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) released a thunderstorm advisory (#9; #VIS_PRS) issued at 04:01 PM today—Sunday, December 31, 2017.
Pagasa warns Metro Cebu as heavy rains with lightning and strong winds are expected due to thunderstorms. Expected areas over Cebu include Balamban, Asturias, portions of Cebu City, Talisay City and nearby areas within 1 to 2 hours.
Thus, all are advised to keep monitoring for updates and take precautionary measures against the impacts associated with these hazards which include flash floods and landslides.
