Davao City is now on its 32nd year of celebrating the beauty, festivity and pageantry – Kadayawan sa Davao! This is Davao City’s thanksgiving for a bountiful harvest.
The celebration also honors the first settlers of the city – the Maguindanaon, Iranum, Kalagan or Kagan, Sama di Laut (Badjao), Tausug, Ovu Manuvu, Maranao, Klata-Guiangan, Ata, Tagabawa and the Matigsalog tribes.
