Khail Tuboro, also known as KHAIL SOLO is a local R&B and Soul singer-songwriter-producer from Davao City.
Since 2014, he has produced for, written for, and collaborated with numerous local and national artists in the country, but is most associated with the band THEA for producing their songs beginning with their second EP, “The Wise and the Wiser” (2015) and for producing most of the singles for their untitled upcoming LP, which garnered the singles “Liko Liko”, “Last Serenade”, and “Home”.
He got his interest in playing the guitar because of the acoustic trend in the early and mid-2000’s. He also plays keyboard and has been making music digitally as an independent producer.
Khail just recently produced a digital album in collaboration with The Panagtagbo featuring various Davao local artists. Some of his musical influences are Alicia Keys, Bruno Mars, The Weeknd, The Roots, Mariah Carey, Babyface, Ne-yo, Marvin Gaye, Drake, John Legend, Stevie Wonder, Prince, Michael Jackson, and Kanye West.
