Malabon City ushers in the Holiday with a special lighting ceremony. Rows of Parol and Christmas trees will come to life on December 1 at the Malabon Park. Adults and children alike will feel the holiday vibe and get to share the joy of the Season with their loved ones as they spend the evening listening to Christmas carols.
Adding to the Holiday cheer is the Paskuhan Village, an outdoor Christmas Market happening for the first time in Malabon City. The market will open on December 5 running through the 30th of December. The City Government of Malabon together with Malabon Chamber of Commerce and Industry organized the event to provide micro, small, and medium enterprises in Malabon the opportunity to showcase their products. With over 25 vendors located along the C4 road, shoppers will surely find the perfect gift for everyone in their Holiday shopping list. Visitors can also catch live performances, have the chance to win a 60inch TV and other raffle prizes making this season the most wonderful time of the year in Malabon
Highlighting the festivities to spread the joy of the Christmas will be a light and sound display at Malabon’s City Hall. A gift wrapping and Choir contest will also be held during the kick-off on December 5. Malabon’s Mayor, Jeannie Sandoval, is thrilled to provide more family fun “This is our humble gift to all the families. A tradition we want to set for our children’s children to remember”.
Admission to the park and Paskuhan Village is always free. Visitors can win exciting prizes when they join the raffle for only PHP20.00 per ticket. Visit and experience Malabon this Holiday season!
