Baguio, Philippines – Mayor Benjamin Magalong has ordered the Baguio City Police Office under P Col. Allen Rae Co to seal off Fairview barangay starting today for the barangay’s indifference to the Enhanced Community Quarantine rules. The mayor observed that barangay officials had no control over residents who were willful.”May mga nagbabasketball, naglalakad na walang masks,” he noted.With the lockdown, entry and exit in the barangay will be restricted including essential travels and exclusing authorized persons outside residence (APOR).”All travels including those for market and medical purposes will have to pass through the barangay,” the mayor said.Meanwhile, the lockdown status of Pacdal issued in view of the presence of one Coronavirus disease positive case has been scaled down and will now just be confined to Maria Basa St.Other areas that remain locked out are barangays Upper Dagsian, Scout Barrio and Woodsgate Subd. where recent COVID-19 patients reside.
