Davao City- Nasayod na daan si Davao City Mayor Inday Sara Duterte-Carpio sa pag-resign ni Paolo “Pulong” Duterte isip Vice mayor sa dakbayan sa Dabaw una pa man kining miresign atol sa special session karong adlawa.
Dugang pa ni Mayor Inday nga andam kini suportahan ug tabangan ang iyang igsuon sa mga desisyon niini sa iyang kinabuhi.
“These things are beyond my control dili siya related sa akoang work where I can do something about it. And it is not my life where i can do something about it. I can only be here for my brother to support Him on whatever his decisions maybe. And in this case nag resign siya, giignan nako siya nga I will help you make that move and then assist you sa transition sa iyahang office”.
Gikanayon pa ni Mayor Sara nga nasayod na sab ang iyang amahan nga si Presidente Rodrigo Duterte una pa man pormal nga miresign si VM Pulong sa katungdanan.
Matod pa sa mayor samtang wala pa naaprubahan sa Office of the President ang iyang resignation letter, on leave karon ang iyang igsuon.
Alayon niini, si Majority Floor Leader Councilor Bernard Al-ag ang ihulip kang VM Pulong kung maaprubahan na ang resignation letter sa ulahi.
“Once the resignation is accepted it is deemed effective. So by the rules of succession under our local government code, Councilor Al ag will become the Vice Mayor of Davao City,” gisulti ni Mayor Inday.
Gitino usab ni Mayor Duterte nga ang mga staff ilawom sa Vice Mayor’s office ibalhin sa City Mayor’s Office.
