Hindi pa itinuturing ng NBA legend na si Michael Jordan na hall of famer ang star player ng Golden State Warriors na si Steph Curry.
Dalawang beses pinarangalan si Curry bilang Most Valuable Player (MVP) ng naturang liga at naiuwi ng kaniyang koponan ang kampyeonato noong 2015, 2017, at 2018.
Nagtala ng average na 23.5 puntos, 6.6. assists, at 4.5 rebounds kada laro ang Amerikanong basketbolista.
Samantala, limang beses nasungkit ni Jordan ang MVP award at nanalo ng anim na titulo habang naglalaro noon sa Chicago Bulls.
Ayon sa team owner ng Charlotte Hornets, mas nararapat pang kilalaning hall of famer sila Magic Johnson, Scottie Pippen, Hakeem Olajuwon, at James Worthy.
“So, Steph Curry shouldn’t be offended when he watches this? I hope not. He’s still a great player. Not a Hall of Famer yet though,” pahayag ni Jordan.
Tila sumagot naman si Curry sa naging komento ni Jordan tungkol sa hindi pagiging kwalipikado sa titulong Hall of Famer.
“I think I’m good, but then I’m never complacent,” buwelta ng GSW guard.
“I know I have more to prove to myself. When you hear a guy like that who’s the greatest of all time, it’s kind of funny. Since we’ve been on this stage, we’ve heard a lot of retired guys chiming in on this generation of basketball player and evaluating talent and saying their generation was better and all that,” tugon pa ng manlalaro.
