Manila, Philippines – Makalipas ang 4 na taon, binuksan ng Department of Transportation – Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (DOTr-LTFRB) ang tinatawag na missionary routes para sa mas efficient, reliable, at ligtas na transport service sa mga residente ng Tacloban City na hinagupit noong 2013 ng bagyong Yolanda.
Layon nitong asistehan ang libu-libong relocates patungo sa kanilang resettlement site.
Kabilang sa missionary routes ang sumusunod:
1) Route A – New Transport Terminal patungong Tagpuro and vice versa (14 kms) patungo sa housing sites ng Villa Sofia, Sangyaw Village at New Hope Village.
2) Route B – New Transport Terminal – New Kawayan and vice versa (12kms), servicing Villa Diana, North Hill Arbours, Guadalupe Heights, Greendale Subdivision, at St. Francis Village.
3) Route C – New Transport Terminal – Cabalawan and vice versa (8 kms), servicing Ridgeview Subdivision, UNDP housing site, Lions Ville, at Knightsridge.
Sa datos umaabot sa 15,000 families o 90,000 individuals ang nirelocate sa Tacloban North kung saan 15 kilometro ang layo nito mula sa city proper.
